Jürgen Barnickel is one of Germany's Pop Art artists.
Initially inspired by his predecessors, he developed his own unique style.
His works are often a fusion of realism and abstraction.
His own photographs always form the basis of his artworks, with the color composition determined later.
With images often reminiscent of the New York spirit of the 1960s,
he consciously distances himself from classical photography and experiments with colors and techniques.
His aesthetic compositions bear the photographer's unmistakable artistic signature.
